The legal drama has now amassed over 45 billion minutes streamed on Netflix and Peacock combined, according to Nielsen's latest report. Markle, who played the character Rachel Zane on the show, couldn't explain the sudden interest but speculated that the ability to binge-watch multiple episodes may have contributed to its popularity. She believes that good shows have a lasting appeal. Although Markle retired from acting when she became engaged to Prince Harry in 2018, she has since returned to the entertainment industry as a producer. Alongside her husband, they are developing TV and film projects through their Archewell Productions banner, with a deal at Netflix.
