Outside Peruvian stadiums, a group of people has become recognized figures. They are the members of Largo Aliento, a digital project that has managed to capture the hearts of fans in just over a year. Their mission? To make the dreams of Peruvian fans come true, from getting them a ticket to a match to allowing them to meet their football idol in person. This initiative, led by Yonatan Benzaquen, Óscar Tamayo, Ozzie Risso, and Diego Rivera, has stood out for its focus on providing unforgettable experiences to followers of the beautiful game. The creators of Largo Aliento come from the advertising world, but their vision goes beyond commercial interests. For them, the key is to genuinely connect with Peruvian fans and create unique moments around football. Despite having the support of some sponsor brands, they prioritize the fans' experience over any economic benefit. According to Óscar, the intention is to use sports as a platform to carry out activations that positively impact the football community. Ozzie and Diego, two of the most visible faces of Largo Aliento, cover various sports events, from matches of the Peruvian national team to local league games in Liga 1. Their presence at the Champions League final and the Copa America demonstrates the reach and dedication of this project. Recently, they traveled across the United States with the Peruvian national team, visiting different cities and spreading their enthusiasm to compatriots who supported the 'Blanquirroja' during the competition. Despite adverse sports results, the Largo Aliento team highlights the good disposition and humor of the Peruvian fans they interact with. Through platforms like TikTok and Instagram, they share their experiences and manage to connect with thousands of followers. This year, they have visited seven countries and still have more adventures ahead in the coming months. Ozzie emphasizes the excitement of experiencing football up close and the joy of being able to bring happiness to fans, emphasizing that for them, it is a dream come true. For Diego, the most valuable aspect of Largo Aliento is the opportunity to share this experience as a family with all those involved in the project. He highlights the constant learning and the bond they have created with those who are part of this initiative. They invite fans to approach them, as through their interaction, they may find motivation and a change in their daily lives. Through Largo Aliento, it is evident how the passion for football can bring people together, generate smiles, and make dreams come true. A project that transcends sports and becomes a source of hope and joy for the Peruvian football community.
